Have you ever heard of someone saying, “oh I had memories of myself living in Italy before.”?
Or someone says “one of my past lives I was a farmer.”
Or maybe, that was You saying it! You had the memory!
Now, come to the next question, has anyone thought “why I am not my great great grandmother”?
Or do we just assumed it is right not being in part of our “physical” family ?
I haven’t seen anyone talking about this, but my theory is, we all have two lineages, at least. We have our physical form lineage, and that changes in every life journey of us. And we have another, “the lineage of souls”, as I call it. Basically it is what we inherited from our past lives. They were who I was before, they are part of me, yet not exactly who I am now. We have the fundamentals, our principles aligned, but without clear memories downloaded we are not exactly the “us” in those lives.
In our physical family lineage, we inherit the genes of our physical bodies, and that determines our body form, our talents and weaknesses, our emotional behaviours, etc.
From our lineage of souls, I believe buried deep down are the karma roots. Special abilities like psychic abilities, past life memories, the hidden aspect of our emotions like being drawn to a certain behaviour or moods, these have been inherited to the genes of our souls.
I remember back then when I was taking one of the in-class Reiki courses, we were talking about finding your own source, I asked my teacher, “what does it mean by finding your source? What is a source?” She briefly mentioned there were a few different theories about sources, one of them was about the soul of one elephant splitting into a hundred souls of ants. I had absolutely no idea what she was talking about. To conclude, I received no answer, so I decided to go search answers on my own.
Though one thing I agreed with her, everyone is different.
As I came across this theory of soul lineage, this is where it goes.
Everyone’s soul lineage is different, it records all our past lives, all the journey we’ve been through.
There was a saying, before Buddha had his enlightenment, he remembered all his past lives and the lessons he had learnt from those past lives.
In other words, to me this means, he has remembered his lineage of souls.
So, for those who wanted to “return to source”, “find out your own source”, or was called for a spiritual awakening, try, to remember your true self, your true identity.
Remember who you were, and who you are right now.
